Kowloon Park

While on Nathan Road, we took a step off to Kowloon Park, a serene area we had read about in one of our books.

It was nice there with beautiful landscaping. I love to watch the people doing their Tai Chi in the morning.

* 9/21/09 Attended Agency Meeting for China's Waiting Child Program
* 9/26/09 Waiting Child Packet mailed to Agency
* 10/12/09 Waiting Child Packet approved by Agency
* 10/23/09 Referral for our son accepted
* 10/25/09 Referral request electronically sent to CCAA
* 10/29/09 CCAA Pre-approval received
* 11/16/09 Final CCAA approval received!!
* 12/10/09 Addendum 3 approved to change status to boy up to 8 years old
* 1/11/10 I-800 sent to Immigration requesting "a specific child" - our son. :)
*1/29/10 I-800 approved; I-797 granted
*2/3/10 File sent to China from National Visa Center
*2/8/10 Letter received from National Visa Center and forwarded to Adoption Agency
*2/19/10 DS-230 (our son's visa) paperwork sent to China to be processed for the Article 5 letter
*3/11/10 Article 5 letter in transit to CCAA
*3/15/10 Article 5 letter received! Travel approval wait begins.
*4/5/10 Travel approval!!
*4/28/10 Leave for China!!
*5/4/10 GOTCHA DAY!!
